I got this knife as a gift from General Motors back in 1993 for buying my first new car. It makes a perfect gift for just about anyone.It still acts like new after 17 years of use. Just make sure to sharpen it at least once a year. I mostly use mine for opening containers and whittling wood.My 110 knife came with a black leather sheath which is a plus as nowdays they are being shipped with a cheap nylon sheath.The knife is just under 5 inches closed.It has brass bolsters on both ends which may become subdued over time so you will need to polish those if you want to keep it looking "sharp".
