I should have listened to the other reviews, the collars don't hug the bar at all. They slide on and off with no resistance. I picked up a set of Gold's Gym collars at Wal-Mart for about $8.00, they work great and have plastic coated handles. I would not recommend these.Get more detail about Valeo Olympic Spring Collars.
