This is a well-crafted, sturdy & all around bad@ss knife that won't set your wallet back too much. As someone noted, you need another leg strap, or it won't stay put. Feels great in your hand, has great features. I've used it for clearing branches, but the actual serrated part of the blade is only about 2 inches, so don't think you'll be clearing a forest with this. I use it for camping/hiking/outdoor stuff...can't say I've tried it in combat, but as sharp as it came and as well built as it is, your chances can only be improved.
